Boutique gym Strength House has reopened its studio in the City of London.

Strength House, which offers its gym-goers a place to condition their body as well as recover from injuries using exercise mechanics and evidence-based nutrition, is now welcoming back clients.

Soon after the launch back in February 2020, the gym, located within walking distance of Mansion House and Bank underground stations, was forced to close as the country went into lockdown and, like most, took to the internet to provide virtual classes and support.

Founded by personal trainers Tara Gadre and Greg Cornthwaite, the boutique gym and rehab clinic was formed after they realised there was a gap in the market for general physio rehab and individualised exercise design in one place.

The couple started Strength House to ensure others would not have to suffer unnecessary and prolonged injury periods, and to put exercise mechanics at the heart of strength training, injury prevention and rehab.

Strength House says it evaluates how muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments work together to produce movement, and how that then translates to personalised exercises.

This allows personal trainers to programme exercises that are specific to your needs.

We’ll be checking them out. Will you?
