Complaints and Code of Conduct

City Matters takes every effort to strive for accuracy in our news reports and we welcome any feedback or corrections. Please email [email protected] with a summary of your concerns and we will aim to get back to you within seven calendar days.

If we accept we have made a mistake we will endeavour to correct it as soon as possible.

City Matters adheres to the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) Editors’ Code of Practice. This is a nationally accepted code, which numerous national and regional media follow.

If you feel we City Matters is in breach of this code, please get in touch as soon as possible.

Please bear in mind that we can only deal with your complaint if you are:

  •  personally and directly affected by an alleged breach of the Code
  • a representative group affected by an alleged breach of the Code, where there is public interest in your complaint
  • a third party seeking to ensure accuracy of published information.

We will acknowledge your complaint by email within seven calendar days and will normally respond to your complaint with a final decision email within 30 calendar days.
