Flippin’ fantastic Pancake Day fun

The City of London is once again celebrating Shrove Tuesday in style with the legendary Leadenhall Market pancake race. Hosted by the Victorian market’s 18th century pub – The Lamb Tavern – the annual tradition will see teams take to the cobbles for a 20m flipping relay. Teams will be encouraged to don bowler hats as a nod to Leadenhall Market’s iconic City status at this much-loved annual event, which is to be commentated by Market personality Charlie from London City shoeshine, who is back by popular demand.
