Where the Pancakes Are launches DIY cooking kits

Where the Pancakes Are (WTPA) have been playing the long game in London – first starting as pop-ups around the Capital before setting up their bricks and mortar restaurants right by Southwark Bridge.

And we have been following them throughout all of this, being totally obsessed with their fluffy pancakes covered in all kinds of imaginative toppings. But, while the second lockdown has forced them to shut, it has also brought us their takeaway meal kits. There’s a silver lining to everything.

Now, you can either order their Big Brunch Box filled with fresh ingredients for an authentic American pancake experience or the Pancakes & Poetry box which is ideal for gift giving during this time of separation from friends and family. The latter sounds a little strange but is perfectly whimsical and silly – both things we need more of right now.

Make these bad boys at home

The Big Brunch Box (serves 6 and costs £45 including delivery)

Make, bake and enjoy WTPA illustrious pancakes in the comfort of your own home, in the company of those you love most (or housemates you didn’t choose but just have to get along with).

The box contains their own secret organic buttermilk pancake flour mix or vegan and gluten-free pancake mix, a small bottle of 100% pure Canadian maple syrup, Swaledale butchers smoked streaky bacon, Blueberries & bananas as well as the essential buttermilk, butter and St Ewe’s eggs.

It’s nothing but the best produce included within these meal kits – that’s what makes these pancakes so rich and tasty. A cut above the rest.
