TEN London’s property investment networking events

Some of Britain’s most successful property investors have come together to share their knowledge and experience at a series of networking evenings in London, organised by property specialists Touchstone Education.

The TEN events, held monthly in the Capital, will allow people interested in property investment to pick the brains of experts and compare notes with likeminded businessmen and women.

A keynote speaker will address each of the events, which will run from now until the end of the year, and guests will then be able to quiz them in question and answer sessions.

Touchstone, which runs weekend seminars and training events for property investors across the UK, says the TEN events will offer unrivalled value to everyone from industry novices to seasoned property investors.

Paul Smith, the company’s chief executive who also owns and manages an extensive property portfolio, said: “Guests at each event will get to meet and hear tips of the trade from some of the country’s most successful property investors.

“Being successful in the property investment industry is dependent on doing the right thing at the right time and, normally, that kind of knowledge can only be gained first-hand.

“What our TEN events offer, is knowledge from successful people who have been there and done it and are now willing to share their experiences.”

Jonathan Rapley, a seasoned and successful property investor, will host the events at the Holiday Inn in Regents Park.

Abi Hookway, managing director of Touchstone, said: “At the start of the evenings, there will be a brief discussion about the focus of the event host and what projects they are currently working on. Then we will encourage people to network with guests who might be working in the same locations or looking for similar things.

“For example, you might be an investor looking for opportunities or someone looking for funds to invest in property. The keynote speakers will always have an interest in the property industry so they might be investors, developers, property owners or mortgage brokers.”

Speakers at February’s events include Dan Patrick, managing director of The Dapatchi Group, a Doncaster-based property development company and Paul Davies and Joel White of Ramsey and White mortgage brokers, also based in the town.

The Touchstone Education Networking event runs on 19 February at Holiday Inn, London Regents Park, Carburton Street, W1W 5EE
