Aldgate square was home to the largest Christmas tree in the City of London last year, so we’re sure this year will be equally worth the trip. Take a stroll through bustling Aldgate Square and be sure to stop for a photo of the twinkling tree.
Festive Lights and Sights Tours
This December, one of the city’s most popular festive experiences is returning for the first time since 2019. Hop on a classic red Routemaster bus to take a journey through the West End’s festive light displays. Tours are happening on December 10, 11, 17 and 18 and tickets must be booked in advance.
Just Vibez Caribbean Winter Carnival
If you’re feeling the chill in the City of London, experience some Caribbean warmth at Southbank Centre. Head there on Friday December 16 from 5pm to 10.30pm for the Just Vibez Carribean Winter Carnival with traditional music and performances.

Festive music nights are back at Sky Garden at the wild and whimsical wonderland bar from Monday December 5. Live music, fabulous cocktails and sharing boards for snacking. Doors open at 7pm daily (except for Saturdays at 9pm). There’s no heating, so make sure you wrap up warm.
