Calling all Junior Junctioneers! Check out our special half-term event of filming, gaming and magic for 8-16 year olds!

As in previous years, Business Junction is organising a special May half-term event for the younger generation of our business members and guests.

Taking place in the Cubic Theatre at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden, a fun afternoon of filming, gaming and magic for 8-16 year olds is guaranteed to enlighten and entertain, with complimentary drinks and a fantastic lunch courtesy of the museum’s in-house caterers, Benugos. Free admission to the London Transport Museum before or after the event is also included.

Welcomed to the event from midday, you can get involved straightaway in the various activities on offer from the following Business Junction members:

Ray O’Neill has 20 years’ experience working (filming, editing and livestreaming) and has been a film course lecturer. Ray will run short filming workshops in the Cubic Theatre at the London Tranbsport Museum with the opportunity for young people to either present a piece to the camera to be filmed, and for those more interested in what goes on behind the camera, to gain some experience about lighting, cameras and sound. See more about Ray’s work here:

Retro gaming entertainment company REZtron will have a selection of retro video games, consoles and screens to allow you to game against each other and your parents – some of whom will of course by absolute experts at these vintage games! Throwback to the golden era of gaming and expect an afternoon of 80’s and 90’s retro games to battle away. Think Pac-Man, Tetris, Double Dragon, Golden Axe, R-Type, Micro Machines, Mortal Kombat, SEGA Rally, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter II, Streets of Rage, Sonic 2, Marvel vs Capcom, Virtua Tennis, Virtua Cop and more displayed on original CRT TVs and on Projector screen using original SEGA and Nintendo consoles and carts.

Starting at midday, the event will come to an end at 2.30pm but the fun doesn’t stop there as all guests can then explore the museum free of charge.
