Police appeal for ID of man following burglary of business

Detectives from the City of London Police have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a burglary at a business in the City.

It is suspected that the man forced entry into the building at Smithfield Market, between 6pm and 6.07pm on Saturday 18 April, and stole two Apple Macs.

CCTV images were captured at the premises and officers from the City of London Police are keen to speak to anybody who recognises the man in the photos.

Detective Constable Ufuk Ekbic, who is leading the investigation for the City of London Police, said: “Burglary and theft are very significant crimes and ones we take seriously in the City.

“To help further our enquiries in this investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images released today.”
