This month, the team at City Matters have been out and about reviewing some of the festive menus the City has to offer. Read on to find out more.

Honest Burgers

It’s without a doubt that burger enthusiasts need to check out Honest Burger this month. This indulgent burger spot features some Christmas classics, perfect for getting into the festive spirit this winter. We opted for the fried chicken, which is topped with deep fried camembert, bacon, cranberry sauce, and rocket – of course accompanied by the ever-popular homemade rosemary salted chips. We love the combination of the deep fried camembert with the fried chicken, a full-on hearty feast that will warm you up this festive period.

Leon Moorgate

If you’re looking for a festive lunch that packs a ton of Christmas flavours, Leon’s new Christmas Cracker wrap is a must-try. Filled with juicy pork stuffing, caramelised onion butter-marinated turkey, crispy bacon and Leon’s signature aioli sauce, the tortilla wrap is a delightful savoury and sweet treat. A variety of sides are available, including crispy chicken nuggets, halloumi mezze and truffle and mushroom arancini. To wash it all down, we tried the Praline Dream Hot Chocolate, a decadent and velvety drink that brought the perfect end to the festive meal. A great spot to visit this month if you’re in the mood for some grab and go food options.
