This was launched in 2021, created by 2 men in a shed: James May, formerly of Top Gear and The Grand Tour fame, and Wiltshire-based award winning Master Distiller Hugh Anderson of Downtown Distillery. Planet Gin – James Gin’s Youtube Channel – now has over 400k subscribers, and is a hub for all things gin as well as epic, informative content such as ‘James May makes the ultimate toasted sandwich.’ James May was named an Icon of Gin by Gin Magazine in 2023. He passed his driving test on the second attempt.

The range now includes the unique Asian Parsnip, London Drizzle and California Dreamgin’ – each variation inspired by James’ travel, mostly at other people’s expense. These are not flavoured gins: London Dry at its finest, with a distinctly savoury spin. . Time to refresh that drinks trolley?
