The City of London Corporation is running an altered bin collection service over Christmas and New Year.
For residents who live in a property with no bin store and so need to place their rubbish on the street there are several days with no collection planned. Evening collections will be slightly earlier than normal during the festival period.
A service will also be run collecting real Christmas trees between December 27 and January 17. All decorations must be removed as the trees will be mulched and used in parks and gardens.
To book the service, call the City of London contact centre on 020 7606 3110. Residents living on estates will need to contact their estate office for information on Christmas tree skip locations.
