As we walked into our room, we were immediately impressed with the use of space. Firstly, there’s a stunning bar located in the room to enjoy a tipple or two and a dazzling bath tub which immediately gains your attention.
Chateau Denmark boasts a sexy space with it’s use of colour and the ability to set the mood with the lighting. Everything about these rooms scream luxury – from the robes to the slick bath tubs. This townhouse has it’s own charm and each apartment is designed in a way where each each room tells a story of rock ‘n’ roll decadence and bold design. And quite frankly, if this isn’t enough, you’ll have access to your very own butler.
However, if your keen to explore everything that the Capital has to offer, from London’s bustling night life to the fabulous theatres of Shaftesbury Avenue, then you’re in luck.
City Matters highly recommends checking out Thirteen, Chateau Denmark’s intimate bar, with Japanese-inspired small plates like delicately seared Wagyu bites and artistically plated sashimi, designed to pair seamlessly with cocktails. Full marks from the team at City Matters.

If you haven’t visited Foxhills Club & Resort yet, you’re missing out. This stunning venue is perfect for families who are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the City.
We opted for a family room, which is perfect for two adults and two children. The room is spacious, chic and designed with a modern touch. The front room is perfect for making memories with the kids with a games night or even watching a festive movie. Staff at this resort are wonderful, they’re friendly and always on-hand to help, whether that be with the luggage or suggestions on how to spend the day in the resort.
Breakfast is also fantastic at this spot, the pancakes are beautifully presented and will keep you feeling full until lunch. They have a great selection from a breakfast buffet to eggs royale.
If you’re looking for activities to entertain the kids, then you’re in luck, as this resort houses 9 tennis courts, 3 padel courts, 2 pickleball courts, five swimming pools, an award-winning HealthSpa, creche, soft play area for the use of both guests and members of Foxhills.

The Club Hotel and Spa
Set in the heart of St. Helier, Jersey’s seaside capital, this luxury boutique hotel is within walking distance of stunning beaches, shops, bars and restaurants.
For those looking to indulge the mind, body and soul then you won’t want to miss the spa that this hotel offers. The Club Spa includes five stunning treatment rooms. On arrival to the spa we had to check out all the amenities and we loved the experience shower, this multi-sensory bathing experience is a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. There are a number of fantastic treatments on offer, from massages to relax the body and facials to help you get the glow this festive season. The spa also includes an outdoor pool and terrace, which is a lovely addition to the hotel for the warmer months.
For diners who are looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, then you need to head to Bohemia Restaurant. Michelin-starred Chef Callum Graham’s menu highlights Jersey’s finest local ingredients and each dish is presented beautifully. Highlights from the tasting menu include, the Cartmel Valley loin of venison, the flavours within this dish are superb. The sweet dishes on this menu are spectacular, in particular, the royal mash vodka, pineapple “mule” dish. Considering this is the island’s only Michelin-starred restaurant in Bohemia – it needs to be added to your list when visiting.

Our lasting thoughts, The Club Hotel and Spa is a wonderful spot to escape the City, diners will be easily impressed by the delights on offer at Bohemia and the spa will help you feel rested and rejuvenated.
